Poem 3- Exams
One afternoon I said to myself,
"Why aren't exams easier?"
Do exams make you shiver?
do they?
Classes, however hard they try,
Will always be boring.
Down, down, down into the darkness of the classes,
Gently they go - the thin, the concave, the dejected.
I cannot help but stop and look at the cunning syllabus.
Are you upset by how tough it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the syllabus so clever?
"Why aren't exams easier?"
Do exams make you shiver?
do they?
Classes, however hard they try,
Will always be boring.
Down, down, down into the darkness of the classes,
Gently they go - the thin, the concave, the dejected.
I cannot help but stop and look at the cunning syllabus.
Are you upset by how tough it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the syllabus so clever?
